I’ve had a number of web sites in the past couple of years. Some more successful than others. By successful I mean those which have seen SOME traffic. Since most of them were a one-man operations ran by me while going to school and working, I had a limited time to regularly update them. This is one of the reasons why many of them failed or are currently on life support. (more…)

I’m sure you’ve read articles about the importance of your domain name. It must be short, it must properly describe your site, it must be easy to type in, it must be easy to spell, it must be…blah, blah, blah.
I chose SlickHog, because SlickPig was already taken.
And the exquisite picture of a pig - I got that for a buck.
