I currently own between 100 and 150 domains, which at one point or another I thought were great, and therefore bought them.  I don’t have a specific number, because I lost interest in some of them and they have simply expired.  I bought others in the meantime, so the number changes on a weekly basis.

One of my plans, or rather, upcoming research projects, will be to place all of them on a server, drop some ads and see what type of income they can generate, if at all, in a given period of time.

Obviously, simply making the domains “live” will not bring any traffic, so I will have to come up with a plan to bring traffic to them.  I may utilize a few sites that are currently live, with the #1 receiving 200,000 unique visitors per month.

I’m not sure when this project will kick off, because setting up 150 hosting accounts will be a very time-consuming task.  However, I was always curious about how much income can theoretically blank websites bring, so I am determined to do it.  But, first things first, I have other less questionable projects that are either going on now or about to start soon.
